wreck family
is a performance trio comprised of boi bella trainwreck, s.k. shipwreck, and nastalie bykewreck. We create short performance pieces that are currently being performed at cabaret shows around the Midwest. Our work fuses time-based media of performance, video, and sound-manipulation into an interdisciplinary, multimedia performance-installation. Wreck Family takes from our individual past experiences with dance, theater, visual art, film, and photography, to create a collaborative new vision that tackles post-modern dance, gender identity, and gay culture. We are currently at work on an evening length piece slated to premiere in 2010.
